• Represented numerous Taft-Hartley fringe benefit trusts and other employee benefit plans in all aspects of
employee benefits law.
• Counseled fiduciaries on policies and procedures, plan design, compliance, and litigation.
• Assisted clients with resolving disputes in federal courts as well as before federal administrative agencies.

Representative Transactions:
• Represented group of employee benefit plans in appellate matter involving an employer that refused to pay the
required contributions. At issue was the degree of aggressiveness in assisting the clients in the exercise of their
fiduciary duty.
• Represented an apprenticeship program that used a Scholarship Loan Agreement to assist apprentices in the
payment of their tuition. At issue in litigation was the legality of the enforcement provisions when a breach
occurs.
• Represented ancillary benefit fund in U.S. Department of Labor audit, specifically addressing concerns about
alleged fiduciary breaches.

11.
• Represented college in an Article 3 and 4 lawsuit against banks, U.S. Postal Service and Federal Reserve
involving forged checks written by former college employee.
• Represented office machine supplier in all manners of litigation; i.e. collections and bankruptcy.
• Pro Bono Attorney, Advocates for Human Rights. Successfully represented members of a Togolese family
seeking political asylum in the United States for political persecution.
