Natural light concept
The whole concept developed from the abstract model of
the space which shows how different materials effect the
way the natural light travels through the space and how it
filters it.
The yellow elements shown on the plan above show the
different objects which have an impact on the light. The 2
light sources on the extremities are the windows placed on
both sides of the space, then from the right to the left:
master bedroom light fixture, the glass screen between the
living area and kitchen/dining and the light fixture above the
kitchen island.
12. Harmonious Moody Sophisticated Masculine Vibrant
The Greenfield Project
Michael Greenfield is one of the
finest contemporary acoustic guitar
luthier to date.
He bought property in London to
open a workshop in order to expand
his business and get access to the
promising musical industry that the
UK and Europe has to offer.
The space is divided in two main
areas: the ground level serving as
the workshop where the guitar
making takes place and the first
level designated to socializing, jam
sessions and client consultation.
There is a mezzanine serving as the
third level, which works as an
office, a sound desk and provides
the required height to accommodate
a stage on the first floor.
13. The architecture of the space has
been divided in 2 main levels and a
3rd suspended structure in between
which serves as an office and sound
technician room.
The newly created level is aligned
with the windows and it has 2 glass
lateral walls which allows the natural
light get in during the day. The wall
of the mezzanine that faces the stairs
is open, allowing a good ventilation
and makes it seem much larger.
The 3 levels are connected by
metaling strings which go from the
ground floor all the way to the ceiling
and acts as balustrade for the stairs,
open wall for the mezzanine and
backdrop for the stage placed on the
first floor.
14.
15. As the first floor is dedicated to social events and live jam sessions, there is a stage which provides the required
space for these sessions to take place on. The backdrop wall made out of metal wire ties in with the company’s
profile, reminding of guitar strings and accentuates the generous ceiling height. This floor is a multipurpose
space, where jam sessions, customer consulting and social gatherings take place so the feeling is pretty moody
and laid back but keeping in touch with the luxurious standards of the brand. The seating is a versatile set which
can be adapted accordingly to the type of the event is taking place. Another feature is the bar with a bespoke
patterned backsplash made out of different stones, metals and woods, which also enhances the relaxed, moody
feeling of the space and adding a focus element and a great first impression.

Fun NaturalCalm Minimal
A multipurpose space which is not only
serving as a reception but as a space
designated for cooking demonstration
sessions, healthy eating focused seminars
and workshops, media events, and for the
employees to work in other than their
designated spaces.
18. The main feature is a counter that connects the outside and inside, serving
as the reception, kitchen and eating area. The crazy paving flooring flows
uninterrupted from the courtyard into the interior and the raised area allows
visitors to view the food demonstrations
19. The first floor is hosting a formal meeting room and provides the access
to the offices and the balcony which extends on the outside and mimics
the same principle as downstairs of two openings. The main focus in
this space is the decorative bespoke light fixture made out of a brass
frame and real dandelions
20.
21. The main elements of the outside
spaces are the green wall, the
multifunctional table which
extends from the inside to the
outside and the continuous
flooring, making the space an
osmosis between the inside and
outside in a seamless way.
22. The balustrade from the
mezzanine which wraps around
and clads the ceiling of the
ground floor and the stairs which
enhances the interconnection
between the spaces and houses
the lighting fixtures in a seamless
manner
