In 1983 – 1995 was working in the field of comparative literary studies (West European and Amer-
ican literature). Since 1995 moved to Cultural Studies – theory and practice of Russian – American
cross-cultural communication. Now concentrates in the problem of Interdisciplinary Studies: conver-
gency of natural sciences and Humanities – from the databases to the integrative knowledge.
