Anas Mohammad has lead the transport/traffic modelling tasks for a number of projects within
the allocated Budget, and cost and quality control complying the local authority’s guidelines in

modelling/planning using PTV VISION suit VISUM and VISEM, network/corridor assessment

Brief description is outlined below:
Abha and Khamis Mushayt Public Transport Study for Ministry of Transport (KSA)
The objective of this Public Transport study is to develop PT plan within (and between) the
three Aseer Region cities of around 700,000 population. The Project consist of 16-month 4-
stage study. Anas’s role is to deliver all related modelling requirements, manage data entry and
refining process, and participate in developing and assessment of proposed PT lines.
Al Ihsa Public Transport Study for Ministry of Transport (KSA)

North Manama Causeway (NMC) Traffic Management, Bahrain: Provided assessment
support to construction team. This included micro-simulation of developed traffic management
schemes in different stages, signal coordination and optimization.
King Faisal Highway-Detour Road Design, Bahrain: Provided assessment support to the
highway team. This included evaluation of highway scheme, corridor performance evaluation,
feasibility assessment, conceptual junction design, pedestrian crossing signals.
Concept Design for Roads/Infrastructures for Urban Planning and Development
Authority, Qatar: Working as transport modeller and planner. Transport modelling was
primary stage to prepare traffic input for traffic assessment. Transport modelling has been

done on Transportation Master Plan for Qatar (TMPQ) model using PTV vision software. TMPQ
model is full strategic transport model for Qatar.
North Bahrain Traffic Study, Bahrain: Provided VISUM network coding and assessment
support to the team. Reviewed various network and demand modelling elements and made
modifications as appropriate. This included adjusting mode spilt parameters including the
supply quality matrix, modifying physical network elements such as links lengths, number of
lanes and volume/delay functions, assess suggested highway designs.
Al Quds Tower TIA, Qatar: Provided VISUM/VISSIM network coding on TMPQ model and
assessment support to the team. Network and demand modelling elements and made
modifications as appropriate. This included adjusting mode spilt parameters including the
supply quality matrix, modifying physical network elements, demand calibration, suggest and
test mitigation measures to meet traffic demand, micro-simulation assessment using Vissim.
