There are three major gas pipeline networks in India operated by GAIL, RGTIL, and GSPL, totaling over 15,800 km. GAIL operates the largest network at around 10,000 km, transporting gas from offshore fields and imported LNG. RGTIL's 1,469 km East West Pipeline connects fields in Andhra Pradesh to markets in Maharashtra and Gujarat. GSPL's network of around 2,200 km is focused in Gujarat. The gas transported comes from various offshore fields in the KG-D6 basin, Mumbai, Cambay, and others, as well as imported LNG.
