Yes Communities: September 11, 2015 – February 1, 2016: Hired on as
housekeeping, duties were more of project management. Responsible for evaluating
repossessed/rental homes and make ready for market. Learned to troubleshoot
problems, fixing most of them, then reporting to the community manager. In
addition to housekeeping and maintenance, assisted in the planning and initiation of
community events, community relations, and miscellaneous office duties.
Internship: Walker County Healthy Initiatives (WCHI): May 5, 2015 – August 4, 2015:
Educated patients, healthcare workers, and communities on the following diseases:
Diabetes, Hypertension, and Adult asthma. Regularly assisted with the health clinics
at local food banks, health fairs, and community events. The organization was held
accountable by meeting target numbers set by the state, monthly conference calls,
annual audits by the state, as well as holding mandatory WCHI coalition board
meetings. Actively involved in the budget planning and in creating plans of action for
FY 2016/2017, which involved a smaller budget and new diseases of focus.
Home Health Attendant: Self-employed: 2001 – 2003, 2006 - 2009: Exceptional one-
on-one patient care for many patients with varying disabilities, including:
Alzheimer’s, Dementia, stroke impairments, Diabetes, Cerebral Palsy, Cardiovascular
disease, chronic lung diseases, obesity, and cancer. The objective of this job was to
not only provide for the patient’s physical needs, but to insure them the best quality
