Reviewer for my students

1.  Place value indicates the position of the digit of
the number.
 Value indicates the amount of the digit of the
number.
 To find the value of the digit, multiply the digits by
its place number.
 When rounding off numbers, do not use equal sign
(=) because numbers are not the same value. Use
the symbol ≈ which means approximately equal to.

2.  There are 2 ways to round off numbers:
a. Number Line
b. Rules in Rounding Off Numbers
 Whole numbers that ended in even numbers are
divisible by 2.
 Whole numbers ended in 0 and 5 are divisible by
5.
 Whole numbers ended in 0 are divisible by 10.
 A whole number is divisible by 3, if the sum of
the digits of the number can be divided by 3
without remainder.

3.  A whole number is divisible by 6 if it is divisible by 2
and 3, that the last digit is even and the sum of the
number is can be divided by 3 without remainder.
 A whole number is divisible by 9 if the sum of its digit
can be divided by 9 without remainder.
