2. What is Culture
The word culture highlights the way of a particular
group of people in any country. It explains their art,
music, food, and belief systems.
Bahamian culture is unlike any other. It defines us as a
people it is what makes us different from everyone else
in the world.
3. Changes In Culture
Over the years our way of doing things in some areas has been
altered. Reasons for this ranges from foreign people coming
into the country and adding their beliefs within society and
another major factor is the influence of television.
Nowadays the Bahamas is considered a “Melting Pot” of
cultures. This means that many different cultures have come to
the Bahamas and mixed in their culture into our “pot” of culture
and now they are all “Melting” together.
