What if you could tap into the genius in your being? What if? What if you found your genius and wrote a book, a poem, a play ..... what would that be like?
1. Being a Genius
This is a very difficult thing to accept in oneself as we usually associate the word genius with people
like Einstein http://youtu.be/30KfPtHec4s and Stephen Hawking; http://youtu.be/T8y5EXFMD4s
these are two people that spring to mind immediately. When I think of myself in relation to these
two people and they are both male by the way, it makes me feel totally inadequate and somehow
incomplete and, I am a woman.
It is no mean feat to try and uncover ones genius http://youtu.be/Ym6whrAw8wU especially when
you are faced with the realization that geniuses are somehow in the elite arena. I am not in the elite
arena. I am bringing this to the pavement if you like.
I accept that I am a genius and that it is ok. It is not a disease although I am often un-eased by it.
It is my birthright to fully experience my being in whatever shape or form it may take.
It is very real for me and present. I am not only alive with the prospect of allowing my own genius to
flower but I am thrilled at the prospect of helping others to find their genius.
I have seen a teenager with no movement and no speech control an entire room.
I have worked with a lady who was a master at game design.
I have worked with a lady who was an amazing sculptor.
I have worked with a man who was as gentle as a butterfly but whose body was huge.
I have worked with a young autistic girl who discovered an operatic voice in the changing
room at a swimming pool.
There are a plethora of qualities held within the human being in whatever state we think we are in.
It is all there waiting to be realized. All we have to do is ask the question. Is it possible?
In my experience anything is possible if we choose it.
We have to allow ourselves to choose it. And then we have to set out on the journey to discover
whether or not, and to what degree it is possible for us.
We have to make obvious decisions like this: I myself am never going to be a Tennis Player
because A. I can’t hit a ball because my physical co-ordination is below average which is
being very kind. B. I hate participating in sport. C. I can’t run for toffee.
So it probably isn’t going to benefit my overall well-being if I refuse to accept my limitations. I must
accept them so that I can fulfil myself in areas that I excel in.
How do I do that? There is only one answer to this and that is exploration. We must become
explorers. http://youtu.be/kgPCBAUtp5o we must activate our internal explorer. This does not mean
that we have to go and scale a mountain although this may be an area of desire that is hidden and
waiting to emerge.
We must take responsibility and be responsible for our emerging self. We must get into a self-
parenting relationship with our selves.
Our selves are the many nuances of being that we have access to within. We can be whoever we
want to be. The human being is a unique and wonderful vehicle for the soul.
2. Our soul is a fragment of the universal soul. When we are born into this lifetime a fragment of the
universal soul comes into being with us. Through the combination of three elements – Mother,
Father, and Baby – we emerge and start to be shaped. Our shaping is really beyond our control for
quite some time, and by the time we are able to take control of our own life, we will have become
embellished with all manner of thoughts and feelings.
Once we start self-parenting, the windows of opportunity start to open and we can begin the
journey to our genius.
