On garden lettuce; I think this is a
young differential grasshopper
Difference between grasshoppers
and crickets? They are in the the
same “Order” but common
naming seems to be that
grasshoppers are more brightly
colored.
8. Butterflies/Moths
The type where I saw the most
different kinds; saw many more
than I have pictures of including
[probable] viceroy, unidentified
small yellow flyer, unidentified
small white flyer
9. • Maybe a Forest Tent Caterpillar
Moth (Seek app)
12. ???? ????

• It is on some grass
• Lady bugs are good luck
• This lady bug has three spots
13. • Maybe a “dotted gray” moth
(insectfinder.org)
21. Tiny bugs on Sotol
100’s of them; size of a pin head. Speedy.
Maybe Hesperolabops gelastop
(Source: https://citybugs.tamu.edu/files/2018/09/Managing-insect-
pests-of-cacti-B6215.pdf)
This Sotol is in a garden bed next to my
house. In prior years when I have
watered around it with the hose lots of
small insects start to jump, making really
loud snaps considering their size.
I think these just hatched. So maybe
these are the babies of the ones I have
seen before.
23. Sitting on
notebook paper
in my house
I think this is a true bug because it
has the right number of segments
and legs and I don’t know what
else it could be. But I have not
been able to find out anything
about what it might be.
