Current responsibilities
Darren Xia is a Regional Director based in Beijing and represents the International Capital Group
(ICG) in China. Darren’s role focuses on identifying and fostering relationships with new sources
of Chinese capital, including sovereign wealth funds, state owned enterprises, developers and
high net worth individuals. Darren will also facilitate the movement of new inter-regional capital
into China from the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.
Previous Experience
Darren has 12 years commercial real estate experience in Australasia, particularly in investment
transactions, structuring and joint venture partnerships. Before JLL Darren held various
investment roles at Australand, a major Australian listed REIT and subsidiary of CapitaLand,
Westpac Institutional Bank and Lend Lease.
