This document proposes a glow in the dark mini golf event around campus with 9 holes located at various campus buildings. Teams of 5 students would participate and be required to have an original theme and costume. Prizes would be awarded for best theme and top 3 scores. The class would be responsible for planning, designing, getting approvals, and advertising the event. Each hole would involve a critical thinking activity related to philosophy, current events, or a scavenger hunt. The goal of the event is to get students engaged before finals and promote involvement across campus and the local community.

• 9

Critical-‐Thinking
is
involved-‐
In
the
planning
and
designing
of
the
event.
Each
group
in
the
class
will
be
assigned
a
hole
on
the
course
and
a
specific
part
of
the
planning
process.
Thinking
of
how
is
the
best
way
of
going
about
getting
everyone
on
campus
involved
and
interested
in
the
event
We
(the
class)
would
be
responsible
for
the
advertising
of
the
event,
getting
approval
from
the
campus
to
hold
said
event,
approval
of
locations,
setup,
design,
supplies
(possibly
getting
sponsors
to
donate/
fund
event)
Class
objectives
involved-‐
Each
hole
will
require
a
clue
to
guide
them
to
the
next
hole.
(not
every
team
will
go
in
the
same
order)
Involve
different
philosophers,
and
tasks
at
each
hole.
Have
a
scavenger
hunt
involved
in
some
way
at
each
hole
(collecting
puzzle
pieces
with
clues
on
back)
Each
hole
will
be
based
on
something
going
on
in
the
world
that
will
make
you
think
2.
Why
this
should
be
held-‐
Not
only
would
this
get
the
students
out
of
their
dorms
before
finals,
but
this
is
something
that
everyone
on
campus
would
participate
in,
(sports
teams,
Greek
life,
as
well
as
just
the
general
student
population
and
maybe
even
the
faculty).
This
event
would
also
be
open
to
the
community,
in
order
to
get
the
city
involved
in
events
on
campus,
thus
showing
that
the
student
body
here
at
Schreiner
is
actually
giving
and
being
involved
in
the
community.
