We held this pre-consultation event to explain the role of the latest consultation and answer your questions.
OPDC will be carrying out a reconsultation, known technically as the second Regulation 19 revised draft Local Plan. This consultation will be on the proposed amendments to the revised draft Local Plan and new and updated supporting studies.
Amendments to the revised draft Local Plan have been carried out to reflect the following changes from:
- responses to the first Regulation 19 consultation (that took place in Summer 2017)
- new requirements set out in the Draft New London Plan
- new and updated supporting studies commissioned by OPDC
- as well as changes to national guidance that all planning authorities need to adhere to
We also want to take this opportunity to say that any comments submitted for the first Regulation 19 consultation will continue to be valid and do not need to be resubmitted.
