Letter of Recommendation for Mr. Alexander Kubo
To whom it may concern,
With this letter I would like to give you some reasons why I recommend Mr. Alexander Kubo
as a candidate for your Master of Finance Program.
Alexander Kubo is currently a Bachelor student at the Vienna University of Economics and
Business (WU). I know Mr. Kubo in my capacity as his professor and as the director of the
specialization program in Public and Nonprofit Management in which he participates.
I know Alexander Kubo as a highly motivated and focused student. He was always well
prepared, participated very actively in discussions, and showed his ability to grasp new
concepts and to apply them to problem solving. For example, in my course on Public
Accounting, Mr. Kubo excelled in comparison to other students with his impressive numerical
understanding. Apart from his skilful grasping and dealing with abstract concepts and
subject matters, Alexander Kubo demonstrated a reflective attitude towards concepts and
ideas as well as comprehensive knowledge of the field. Last but not least, Alexander Kubo’s
ability to contribute to and to work in teams as well as his willingness to assume
responsibility for outputs for team members has to be emphasised.
Overall, Alexander Kubo is a highly dedicated student with a professed interest in finance
and clear goals for the future. Based on my experiences with him I recommend Alexander
