Thai student ambassadors serve as leaders and
representatives for the ASEAN University
Games, providing an honest and positive
image of Thailand to the participants, guests
and other university dignitaries.

The ASEAN University Games (AUG) will be the first
major international multi-event meet to be hosted by
Chiang Mai since the 18th Southeast Asian Games
held in 1995.
Countries participating in the meet are students from
universities that represent Malaysia, Thailand,
Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei Darrusalam,
Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Timor-
Leste.

Yes, you are student first and volunteer second.
Therefore, it is important that you balance and maintain
your class assignments, quizzes and projects.

Positive attitude about Thailand and the ASEAN University Games
Please understand that they are visitors to the Kingdom of
Thailand
Provide them with a Thai cultural, customs and language
translation as needed in a polite positive attitude.
Willingness to learn more about different cultures, customs and
manners.
Maintain professional uniformed attire when acting in the student
Ambassador capacity.
Attire will be ASEAN University Games T-shirt / Polo Shirt and
black dress pants or long skirt. NO JEANS!
