2. I Love to Eat Fruits and Vegetables
The front cover is very colourful and has a rabbit holding fruit and veg,
this is a theme throughout the book and as you can see from one of the
page below, although it’s got a nice front cover it looks very bland. It is
38 pages long which means it could be read as a night time book,
reading a few pages at a time, or just all at once. Its an educational
book trying to get to eat less sweet foods and more fruits and veg. This
is important because kids will look to this story and think that it’s ok
because an rabbit in a story eats fruit and veg.

I havent seen any other pages from inside the book, but from what I
have seen it doesn’t look all the appealing to the eye. It has had
fantastic reviews which means it must be doing something right, but for
me it looks a bit too bland. It is aimed at younger children and could be
used in school’s to help kids want to eat fruit and veg.

3. This book is aimed for kids between the ages of 5-8
years old, and even though it is aimed at kids that age, it
also looks great so adults won’t mind reading it. The
book itself looks extremely fantastic and simplistic, and it
has a really deep meaning, a child wishing people good
health throughout the book.

You might think a book with no pictures seems boring and serious. Except . . .
here’s how books work. Everything written on the page has to be said by the
person reading it aloud. Even if the words say . . .
BLORK. Or BLUURF.
Even if the words are a preposterous song about eating ants for breakfast, or
just a list of astonishingly goofy sounds like BLAGGITY BLAGGITY and GLIBBITY
GLOBBITY.

The book is beautifully simplistic, and does exactly what it says on the front, it
has no pictures, just words. But what kids won’t realise is they are learning
words for meanings without them even knowing. As you can see from the
example on the left you will, it is teaching them words that they wouldn’t
normally hear in normal life from there teachers because they are not
simplistic. At the same time it will entertain kids because the book has there
parents read out silly words that they will enjoy, this makes up for the lack of
pictures in the book.
