movement that promotes the
interests of a particular nation
especially with the aim of gaining
and maintaining the nation’s
sovereignty over its homeland.
Nationalism is a result of complex
factors which vary from time to time
and state to state.

 Religion
 Language
 Historical traditions
 Democracy
