Were given an opportunity to learn & understand
about the socio-economic status of women who
worked at beauty parlor in Khulna, Bangladesh,
along with their level of job satisfaction. For that we
went on to do a survey on such question, with the
help of 10 beauticians who worked at various parlors
around Moylapota Morh and Alir Club Morh…..

1 Age
9 of them are around the age between 18-25, the other is
elder being between 26-35
2 Religion
8 of them are Muslim, 1 is Hindu & the other is a Buddhist.
3 Marital Status
None of them are married.
4 Experience in Numbers
1 of them has been working for barely 1 year, 1 other has
been working for more than 5 years & the rest has the
experience between 1-5 years.

for future. Another implication is that they can’t save money for a specific goal which is
understood when the reason for saving is actually future uncertainties.

their salary, other 30% remain Neutral in this regard

Positive-80% of the respondents receive bonus
during festivals, 1 other remains Neutral, while other
1 does reported in Negative.
Maternity Leave
50% Positive- word is that their parlor allows
maternity leave, 30% Negative reporters said their
parlor doesn’t allow maternity leave, while the rest
