1. Description of game
My game is a sports genre game called “London
Olympic Games”. It’s about popular Olympic games
that will be taking place in London. In the game, the
sport events will be taking place on London’s famous
tourist attractions, e.g.- Sprints with be on London
Bridge. The player can design his own character and
chose the country to represent. The aim of the game
is to win as many medals in the sport events, which will
gain you points to unlock new
sports, settings, character accessories/skills.
2. Audience Profile
My target audience would be boys and girls, mainly
boys, aged around from 8+. It would be for those who
have interests in video games and sports.
Age: 11
Hobbies: Sports (football, athletics, rugby) In
free time. Plays football with friends and
video games (sport and racing games).
Likes to watch TV and go to the cinema.
Other info: Year 6 student getting read to
move to a secondary school. Lives with
parents in little house. Family is not rich but
not poor.
3. Marketing
My marketing strategy for my game would mostly be
TV adverts as my target ages usually watch TV. They
would be on normal channels and on children’s
channels. Also, posters and billboards. The
billboards would be around the city and posters
would be on buses and bus stops. This would be
because my target audience would see buses and
billboards, e.g.- going to school, hanging out with
friends.

5. Analysis
I constructed my poster with London’s famous sights
and the 2012 Olympics logo in the background to
shows the audience that the game is sports based
and it’s to do with London 2010 Olympics. I also
placed two characters at the back, a female and
a ma, to represent girls and boys. The background
image is of a racing track to represent athletics that
are the main theme of the game. It also represents
sport that my target audience have an interest in.
As well as the racing track representing sports, also
the title tells what the game is going to be about.
