2. The Problem:
The director and other authorized staff
members at the newly converted Agape Learning
Center need a place to quickly store and
retrieve a student’s data. This data also needs
to be protected from hackers and other
threats by security software.

3. Project Overview
This project will create a brand new system
that will track all student information that is
gathered by the learning center. It will then
give a progress report for each student to any
authorized staff member that requests it.

4. Objectives
this new system will provide the following for each student:
 Subjects in which they are being tutored
 The tutor assigned to the student
 Number of session per week
 Number of sessions per month
 Accounting information
-balances, payments and payment method
-cash, check or charge
 Emergency data
 Students school information
 Home information
 A student progress report - Quarterly

Saves a lot of employee time when looking
and storing data.
Increases accurate entry of student
information.
Reduces errors when storing or retrieving
information.
Increases the stored information’s overall
security.

The total system cost including installation is
projected to be around 50,000.00 USD. Shaun
Riordan, our company secretary, has already
bought all the software licenses. Every
software license needs to be renewed
individually every year.

The end product will be presented to the
site director, IT administrator and Electrician
about 8 days before the grand opening on July
1st, 2010. This leaves us with time to change
any non-satisfactions and errors.
