3. Out bound Logistics
• Farmer transports his produce to the nearest
processing center or storage hub.
• ITC incurs the transportation cost.
• The farmer bears the risk of transportation until
produce is delivered and the sale is completed.
• Resulted in cost cutting and reduction in
transportation expenses.
• Once the grading of the produce is undertaken,
ITC itself undertakes the transportation process.
• ITC has its hubs located at strategic locations to
enable smooth receipt and dispatching of final
products.
