Adina Halilovic, born on 03/08/1990, participated in a youth exchange project called CONNECT! from 08/08/2014 to 15/08/2014 in Rogoznica, Croatia. The project brought together young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Serbia. Through workshops, debates, and outdoor activities, the youth developed skills like teamwork, intercultural awareness, and civic engagement. Adina improved her communication, learning, social, and cultural skills during the exchange.

YOUTH EXCHANGES
In Youth Exchanges supported by Erasmus+, groups of young people from different countries joinfly design, prepare ano
carry out a work programme. lt is usually a mix of workshops, debates, role-plays, simulations, outdoor activities. The young
people are supported by experienced youth workers and leaders in this. Youth Exchanges allow them to develop competences,
become aware of socially relevant topics, discover new cultures, and strengthen values like solidarity, democracy, etc.
Erasmus+ is the European Union's programme for boosting skills and employability through education, training, youth, and
sport' Youth activities under Erasmus+ aim to improve the key competences, skills and employability of young people, promote
young people's social inclusion and well-being, and foster improvements in youth work and youth policy at local, national and
international level.

The aim and the specific obiectives of the project were:
The main purpose is to enhance the quality of life of young people. The objectives are: l.Personal and social
growth through acquisition of life, social, and communication skills, but also the skills that promote employability;
2.Development of social responsibility; and 3.lntercultural learning
Main activities:
The ,,CONNECT!', is a youth exchange project with Partner cluntries. The main theme is international cooperation and
international relations. During the exchange a variety of non-formal and informal learning methods have been used:
discussions, role playing, ice breakers, outdoor games, feedback etc.
The main achievements of the proiect were the following:
Better quality of life of young people with fewer opportunities, enriched with new knowledge, skills and abilities; Young
people from three countries linked to strong social network and a network of mutual support; Developed cooperation
between the three partner organizations
