Avalon Healthcare Solutions wanted to accelerate
service delivery with a 100% cloud-based claims editor.
Success: Accenture helped develop a portal for
providers, patients and health plans to provide
appropriate access to data, claims and prior
authorization.
Avalon can now edit up to 150K claims an hour (856
milliseconds) with 99% uptime and 99.5% accuracy.

TRANSFORMATION
Towergate
With Accenture’s help, Towergate has rotated to “the new” by
migrating its IT infrastructure to the Azure Cloud, deploying new
telephony and network solutions, and establishing a digitally
enabled work environment.
Success: Achieve approximately 30 percent annual run rate cost
savings, which translate into savings of about £4 million (US$5
million) per year, improve user experiences with new tools, a single
service desk and enhanced self-service capabilities, more easily
collaborate across departments, thereby making the company more
agile and responsive to customer needs, reduce IT incidents and
outages, and make better, faster decisions, based on greater visibility
into its operations.

MOVING MINING
TO THE CLOUD
U.S. Mining Company
This U.S. Mining Company needed to migrate their entire
data center to reduce costs and capital expenditures.
Success: Accenture resized workloads and scheduled the
transfer of 90 workloads and 130 terabytes of data during
non-business hours to minimize business disruption. In total,
90 technical servers with 15 apps where migrated to the
Azure cloud in just three weeks helping the company save
$1 million per month on their lease agreement and contain
costs ongoing to drive efficiencies needed for business growth.
