Dear Sir/Ma’am
This letter serves as a reference for my previous employee Abigail Stewart.
Abigail worked as my Executive Assistant at Christel House from June 2014 until September
2016. I have worked with many people in my 30-year career, no-one learns as fast and
executes as professionally as Abigail. She is remarkable. I was devastated to lose her to
Europe but happy for her to marry and relocate to Europe. Abigail has a tremendous work
ethic, works tirelessly 24/7, literally, and is only happy with her work when it meets her own
quality standards which are even higher than mine!
Abigail started with typical Exec assistant tasks, but quickly demonstrated she could add much
more value elsewhere, so I began making my own coffee, scheduling appointments and Abigail
assisted in Fundraising for the school, managing our network of Donors and Partners and
working with our Graduates in the College & Career program. Abigail demonstrated her
capabilities and we developed huge trust between us. At the beginning of our working
relationship, I told her that her goal was to make me 20% more effective & efficient. Abigail
exceeded 50% at the end of her tenure.
Abigail works very fast, aided by being exceptionally computer literate in all modern programs.
Her communication is superlative and while you may have read those words in other
references before, Abigail's communication really is excellent. Abigail can market, sell,
promote, network and is very comfortable with everyone up to and including C-level
executives. Everyone respects Abigail for her Professional attitude and work ethics. Everyone
loves Abigail for her unselfish behaviour, constant good mood and her sense of humour. The
fact that Abbey has achieved what she has achieved from her modest beginnings is all the
more remarkable
I recommend Abigail to anyone who has a role demanding enough to make certain she is
