2. Introduction Physical Education has come a long way with the era of technology. A lot of classrooms use computers, overhead projectors, and smart boards to liven up their learning. In the past the P.E. classroom didn't have much to change up their lessons with. With the use of Wii fit systems, Pedometers, Heart Rate Monitors and much more, Physical Education has been able to break away from its "role out the kickball" stereotype and really gets students excited about something new.
4. Conclusion Physical education is constantly changing as new technology is being presented. New technology is taking P.E. out of the realm of classic "sports" driven education and into the 21st century. Physical educators are using technologies such as video games, pedometers, and heart rate monitors to better motivate and assess their students.
