2. Goals
• Obtain a better understanding of agronomic data management
tools and how to effectively apply them in the agricultural
industry.
• Gain a better understanding of crop growth stages and the key
environmental factors that affect those stages.
• Build better communication and management skills while
working with Pioneer employees and customers.
• Overall become more knowledgeable and competent in the
agronomy field and be able to further apply that knowledge for
future use.

4. Analyzing Encirca View Use
• 30 Pioneer Affiliates In LP Were Interviewed On
Their Note Taking & Sharing:
• 4 Account Managers

• 22 Sales Representatives

• The following results and presentation were given
to all of the sales representatives on July 21 at the
2015 LP Area Sales Kickoff Meeting in Louisville,
KY.

13. Following Up
• A survey was sent to all of the sales representatives in
LP to see if they had increased their Encirca View note
taking and sharing capabilities following the sales
kickoff
• Total of 17 respondent's
• 9 reported to be taking more pictures, incorporating external sources,
and also gaining better problem solving skills
• 8 reported to be taking more notes, introducing Encirca View to new
customers, and also gaining better communication with customers
• 3 stated that they are now sharing notes with customers since they
ha

14. Future Plans & Career Objectives
• Graduate from Purdue University in May 2015 with a B.S. in
Agricultural Systems Management
• Return to my hometown in Southwestern, IN and obtain a
career in precision agriculture or implement sales
• Work part-time on the family farm
