India – The Most
Peaceful Country.
• Despite all the power and
immense wealth, India has
never tried to invade any
country in her last 10,000
years of history.

Inventor of Chess.
• Chess was invented in India
more than 1400 years ago in the
northern part of India. It was
initially spread by the Arabs to the
muslim world. Then it spreaded to
the Europe towards the end of
15th century.

India – Land of the
Oldest Civilizations.
• Indus Valley Civilization –
the oldest modern
civilization found till date was
mainly established in the
northern west part of India
and Baluchistan (Now
Pakistan). The civilization is
recognised for its use of
modern tools, trade,
agriculture and architecture.

India – Inventor of
Modern Maths.
• Aryabhatta, an ancient
mathematician and astrologists
was the inventor of zero and is
renowned for his works and
efforts towards modern maths
and astrology. His works are
considered as miracles for the
modern mathematics.

India – The Golden
Bird.
• Until the 18th century, India
was the only producer of
diamonds and its wealth was so
immense that the world started
reffering India as the golden bird.
India also had the largest amount
of gold. Theorists say that if India
wouldn't have been invaded by
The Britishers, it would have
been the most developed and
richest country in the world.

India – Origin Of
Yoga.
• Yoga is a mental, physical and
spiritual practice and had its
origin from India. It has been
practiced in India for over 5000
years. Patanjali – The Father Of
Yoga is the person behind the
global spread of yoga.
India – Inventor Of
Atomic Theory.
• The atomic theory was
developed by Acharya
Kanad in Ancient India which
talked about indestructible
nature of atom and his
discovery dates back more
than 2600 years ago.

India – The
Architectural Miracle.
• Kailasa temple located in
Ellora, Maharashtra, is
considered as an architectural
miracle as it is carved from a
single humongous piece of rock.
Scietists say that without the help
of modern technology, it is
impossible to carve a whole
temple from a sigle piece of rock.
India – Origin of
Plastic Surgery.
• Sushruta is considered as the
father of plastic surgery. His
works dates back 2600 years
ago when he executed such
complex surgeries like cataract,
fractures, artificial limbs, urinary
stones etc. That even with
modern tools are difficult to
perform and have very low
chance of success.

India – Land Of
Diversity.
• The four main religions that
were formed in India –
Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism
and Sikhism are followed by
25% of the whole world's
population. Buddhism which
originated in India is now
followed by almost 95% of
China's population.
India – Ayurveda
and its Benefits.
• Acharya Charak, Father of
Ayurveda, wrote a book 3000
years ago which had
information about almost
1,00,000 plants and herbs
and their medicinal qualities.
He also wrote about a
balanced meal and its
benefits for mind and body.

India – Oldest City
in the World.
• Varanasi (Now Benaras) is
the oldest inhabited city in
the world. Proof of its
existence can be found in
many religious and historical
textbooks. According to
scientists, its origin can be
dated as old as 5000 B.C.

India – Land Of
Geniuses.
• Where ancient Romans and
Greeks knew numbers only
upto 106, Ancient Indians
knew numbers upto 10^53
with a specific name for each
number. Indian Ancients also
originated the decimal and
value system that led to the
modern mathematics.
India – World's
First University.
• The world's first university
was established in Takshashila
in 700 B.C. More than 10,500
students from all over the world
studied more than 60 subjects
in this university. Nandala
University built in India in the
4th Century was one of the
greatest Universities in the
whole world.

Endangered Species.
• India is the home to many
endangered species of
animals such as Asiatic Lion,
Bengal Tiger, Indian Gharial,
Snow Leopard, Great Indian
Bustard, Indian Elephants,
