- Hello everyone. I’m Carlos CEO and co-founder of doDOC, a cloud-based collaboration tool that optimizes scientific document preparation workflow, making the lives of researchers easier and accelerating scientific progress!
- Although lawyers, researchers, teachers and students live under completely different paradigms, all of them have a common pain in their professional lives: document preparation. Productivity in all those fields is critical, but due to process inefficiencies, every single year 17,000€ are wasted per individual on document preparation issues.
- We are talking about a 5 billion euro opportunity cost worldwide!
- I’ve lived this problem in my own skin, since I was a PhD student for the last 5 years, before starting the company. Existing solutions transform document preparation in a nightmare, and made me waste time performing activities that could be easily done automatically. Like me, tens of millions of researchers faced this never-ending challenge and that is why we created doDOC.
- doDOC separates the writing experience from all non-technical aspects that undermine document preparation productivity,
- allowing users to write collaboratively and to fully focus on content. For example, doDOC allows users to format their documents with just one click!

- doDOC presents a multiple revenue and pricing strategy, depending on the client specific needs and profiles. We have subscription contract fees based on the number of users or documents created,
- and we are looking to establish a strong user base that will support our grassroots growth.
