Pre-School Center.
Oversee & supervise a staff of 87 including Therapists, Teachers, Bookkeepers,
Administrative Assistants, Maintenance, Reading, Music and Computer
personnel.
Work with Board and Agency Founder on the development and implementation
of a 6.3 million dollar yearly budget comprised of city / state grants and individual
tuition.
Serve a student population of 167 (in-house) and 140 (in-home care settings). .
Provide monthly reports to city and state agencies on financial aid matters,
attendance, and therapy provided.
TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM Roslyn Heights, NY
Executive Director 2005 to 2007
Formulated, implemented and administered a 4.8 million dollar budget. Administrative
for congregation’s 925 families. Supervised staff of 82 including Bookkeepers,
Administrative Assistants, Teachers, Camp, Security and Maintenance personnel.
Building & Parsonage maintenance duties included the overall management of
a13 acre facility (housing an extensive summer camp) and its custodial and
security staff.
Finance duties included overseeing the formulation of temple budget and
monitoring adherence. Supervised finance personnel, directed expenses to
proper committees, and reviewed payroll. Oversaw the collection of all
outstanding funds, contacted delinquent congregants, and formulated alternative
arrangements with disadvantaged members who were unable to pay full dues.
Oversaw the preparation of monthly financial reports to officers. Worked with
outside accountants for preparation of semi-annual and annual financial
statements. Implemented and maintained temple’s computer information

Miscellaneous duties included the facilitating, assisting, and coordination of
efforts of Clergy, Educational Directors, Camp Director, Youth Director, Librarian,
Museum Curator, Building, Finance, Fund-raising, Cemetery, Emergency
Planning and all other Temple Committees. Acted as a community liaison for
Roslyn Little League, Boy Scouts and School Districts.
3. STEPHEN WISE FREE SYNAGOGUE New York, NY
Executive Director 1997 to 2005
Developed, operated and oversaw an annual budget of 3.5 million + and 650 families.
Supervised a staff of 65 including Teachers, Bookkeepers, Administrative
Assistants, Cemetery Workers, Security and Maintenance personnel.
Solely responsible to the President and Board of Trustees for the operation,
fiduciary duties and supervision of synagogue assets and properties.
Managed and operated synagogue’s cemetery located in Hastings on the
Hudson (Westchester Hills).
