RESPONSIBILITIES>>
In this company i am working as a promoted Mud Logger. I can also do Identification of
various phenomena such as kick or occurrence of gas, sample description, sample collection. Not only
this, i can also handle service engineering works such as computer communication, rig up and rig down,
connection of various sensors to their respective modules ( Pit module, rig module and shale shaker
module), Installation of various software, i can also monitor online drilling parameters, such as depth,
rpm, spp, rop, pit levels, mud pump strokes etc.
And also work on Core Analysis, Geochemistry of rocks and general work at all Rig.

2. WORK EXPERIENCE>>
 One month experience in O.G.D.C.L. (Oil and Gas Development Company Limited) in
Pakistan as a Mud logger.
 Three Month’s experience in Neelum Jhelum Hydroelectric power Project (TUNNELING) in
Azad Jammu And Kashmir, Muzaffarabad. .
 Experience in G.I.S. (Geographic Information System) related to Geology.
 Fifteen days field work in structural study, rock samples, section measurement, Brunton
chain survey and preparation of geological map.
 Four month Lab experience in Petrographic study of igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary
rocks.
 Fifteen Days Field experience in Stratigraphy & Geomorphologic Features of Azad Kashmir
area Pakistan.
 Fifteen Days Field experience in Petrology of Northern Area of Pakistan.
 Fifteen Days Field experience in Stratigraphy of Nummal Gorge, Khewra Gorge, Zaluch
Gorge & Galiyat Section.

FINAL PROJECT>>
My final project is petrology of Igneous, Metamorphic and Sedimentary rocks of Jhelum
valley of Chamm, Reshia, Lumia and Neelum valley areas of Azad Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Pakistan.
PROJECT CONTENTS>>
1) Stratigraphy of the above areas and Preparation of stratigraphy map
2) Behavior of rocks and collection of rocks samples
3) Identification of structural features, Fault and Fold analysis
4) Brunton chain survey and Section measurement of these areas
5) Preparation of thin section of the rocks samples and then studies it under the microscope
6) Identification of minerals, fractures, alteration and percentage of minerals
7) Classification of rocks on the basis of mineralogy
8) Practical experience in geographical mapping and collection of field data, with skills in research and
report writing
9) And also field work in Structure Geology and Engineering Geology
10) Learned basic rock types and mineral identification with in igneous and metamorphic sequences
11) Study the maps and physical conditions prevalent at that location and explain the reasons that led to
the geographic phenomenon
12) Classify the rocks, soil, vegetation and water samples collected from different locations on basis of its
composition
