Structural evaluation of Margalla Hills near the vicinity of Shah Allah ditta area, Islamabad
FIELD WORK REPORT UNIVERSITY
Structural and Stratigraphic mapping of an area almost seventy square kilometres in Margalla
hills, Islamabad that included making traverses every day for almost twelve hours. Taking
samples & performing tests on the field to identify the rock type and also taking readings for
the identification of the structural trends in the area that was mapped. The data from the field
was used to write a report which included complete description of the formations studied, the
geological structures seen and preparing structural and Stratigraphic
