AftersurveyingAdAdastral Square onthe 4th November2015, it hasbeendeterminedthatarea
providesaminimal level riskoverall the overall wellbeing of castand crew and only mediumlevels
of disruptiontoproductionare tobe expected.Once again,itshouldbe stressedthatdisruption
levelswill varydramaticallydependentonthe time of filming andthe weather.Multiple elements
were takenintoaccountduringthisinvestigation.A brief overview of risksanddisruptionsis
containedbelow.

1 – Beingfrequentlyusedpublicarea,aswell featuringsome commercial livingaccommodation,the
area isusuallywell maintained.The large amountof binsmeansthatmostpeople willhappily
dispose of theirrubbish properly.Coupledwith the Council cleaningandthismakesforwhatwasa
verytidyarea wheninspected. Asaresult,itisunlikelythatwe will be requiredtopickupany
rubbishonce we arrive at the location(whichwill giveusvaluableadditional filmingtime).
2 – Aforementioned,the levelof humanactivitywill varydependantonwhattime of the day it is.
During1:00pm and 2:00pm whenthissurveywas quite afew people around the locationthatcould
possibly cause disruption. Thisisbecause,notonlydoyouhave people takingtime outforlunch
breaks,putyou alsohave people livinginthe residential areacompletingtheirshopping.However,
thismeantthe most of the people inthe areawere inside of eatingandshoppingestablishments;
rather thanbeingoutside,whichmeansthatnoise shouldstayatnatural/nonexcessive levels .Asa
result,we don’tbelieve thatanytimeof the daywouldbe outrightimpossibletofilmin.
3 – As to be expected,there will be membersof the publicfrequentlywalkingaroundthe locationas
we film.This,inourcase, will prove beneficial because we wantAlanCockette’sinterviewstooccur
inan active publicplace;feel thatwouldbe enhancedbyalargernumberof people.Inorderto
avoidexcessnoise,we will putupasignexplainingwhatwe are doing.Notonlywill thishopefully
leadto people keepingthe noise down(outof consideration),butwill alsoease those worriedthat
theyare beingfilmed(eventhoughthatisn’tthe intention)
4 – The location’sterrainisentirelyconcrete.Thismeansthatthe area iscompletelyflatwhich
negatesthe riskof tripping.Any grassyareasare well containedinconcrete flowerbedsmeaning
that any wildlifesuchasmushrooms are well containedandoutof the way of filming.The only
possible issuemayarise withthe stairsbecause,if acamerastepsback, unaware of hisposition,he
may fall andhurt himself.Thankfullyaslope isalsopresentsand,furthermore,we willlikelybe
filmingwell awayfromthe stair,reducingthisrisk.

5 – The weatherissomethingthatwe will have toprepare forabestwe can. At the time of the
survey,the weatherwascloudy;butnorain waspresent.Furthermore,the temperature wasrather
lowduringthe surveytothe pointthata coat wasrequired. Asmentionedinthe reportof location
002, beingoutin the coldand rain forlongperiodsof time couldaffectthe healthof cast andcrew,
as theymay contract a cold andnot be available forfurtherfilming.Todeal withthis,all crew will be
askedto bringa coat withthemto the location. Theywill be askedtodothe same evenon sunnier
days(justso that theyare preparedforpossible showerslaterinthe day).If raindoesbecome
strongenoughthe filmingisoutrightimpossible;we willbe able totake shelterinthe local busstop
and nearbyshopsuntil itdiesdown.
6 – During inspection,there wasnowildlife around (bardomesticpetssuchas dogs).If,forexample,
a fox appearedandlookedtobe hostile,we wouldtake shelterinone of the nearbyshopsand call
the council to deal withit.
Summery
The locationisperfectlysuited tothe filmingof ourdesiredscenes.Hazardsare minimal,due toit
beinga commercial area,andare easytransportroutesto the location(withthe busstoprightnext
door).
Afterthis report
Afterthisreporthas beenpublished,all confirmedcastandcrew will be informedthatthe location
has beenconfirmedforfilming (withfuturecrew beinginformed once confirmedonthe project).
Furthermore,we willsitdownasa group andbeginto lookat weatherforecastsforthe dayswe
intendtofilm.From there,we candetermine whichdaysare bestforfilmingatthislocation.
