Ruan created a blog called "Ruan's Blog" and uploaded various content to it such as a video from YouTube of Gillian Welch singing, blog posts about his lectures, photos from his travels with a focus on urban areas of Dublin, Dun Laoghaire and London, fleshed out blog posts, and a podcast uploaded via Podomatic. Uploading images and video was challenging initially but became easier with help from the lecturer and by using Podomatic to upload the podcast.
2. I have entered a name for my blog entitled
Ruan’s Blog
I have entered a video of Gillian Welch singing
“Orphan Girl” derived from Youtube.com.
I have also entered a few blog posts on my
experience witgh the first few lectures.
3. I entered a few images of me at my travels but
the most prevalant images I have entered are a
portfolio of pictures under the theme “Urban”.
Here I have images of Dublin City, Dun
Laoghaire and London.
In addition to this I have fleshed out some of
my important blogs.
4. I have uploadeded a Podcast to my blog via
Podomatic.com (free software to upload videos
on) It proved most efficient but took me a little
time to set up.
I have also updated my blog and fleshed out
the entries aswell as creating new entries.
5. Uploading a video was quite difficult as I did
not know the full procedure but with the help
of the lecturer it proved easier.
Not all the pictures showed up immediately for
Urban. But I was fortunate to have a large stack
of them to upload.
Uploading the video was difficult and time
consuming until I joined Podomatic.com.
