1. Rule of thirds
Rule of thirds is basically the arrangement of the subject within the image. The
concept of the rules of thirds is to break down the image in thirds so that you have 9
squares.
The idea of how to use the rule of thirds is that if you place points of the subject in the
intersections or along the lines that the photo will be more balanced. The intersected
points are said to be most viewed rather than the centre of the image.
When using the rule of thirds these are the two things to think of:
What are the points of interest in this shot?
Where am I intentionally placing them?
