The Australian sea-lion has gray or brown fur and lives in groups of 10-15. Males can weigh up to 300kg while females weigh around 100kg. They eat a variety of seafood like squid, fish, and lobsters. Females give birth to one pup per year that stays with its mother for 11-12 months. The species is endangered due to accidental catching in fishing nets and overhunting in the past.
