Plant operators must constantly carry out recurring teststo guarantee the proper functioning and the preservation of approvals for the operating of industrial plant in accordance with statutory and regulatory guidelines. The administration and updating of approval data is a time factor that should not be underestimated for the plant operator. Our Visual Facility Information System (VFI) supports the plant operator in the recording and updating of data relating to the plants...

2 Test manual
A vast amount of data exists for large and
complex plants that must be structured,
processed and administered. This module,
for the administration and recording of re-
curring testing for technical plants, allows
the plant operator to administer the data
and assign schedules for every plant
section. Colour-coded differentiations and
arbitrary lead times facilitate the tracking

In order to present and prepare the ongo-
ing approval situation of a plant, a lot of
data relating to approvals, specifications
and supplementary provisions has to be
recorded with corresponding terms and
dates.
The module simplifies this recording and
administration and offers the plant opera-
tor the option of presenting the approval
situation in concise reports.

Any number of files relating to any kind of
schedules, plants or approvals can be assi-
gned, depending on the area of applica-
tion that is being worked on. In this way,
an extremely effective and concise docu-
ment structure is achieved.

Any number of people can be assigned as
persons in charge of the individual plant
sections. If a schedule is pending for a
plant section, the persons in charge are
automatically informed by email. A stand-
alone service separate from the applica-
tion examines the scheduling situation
several times a day. In the event of any
new incidents, an email is automatically
produced and documented.

tenance measures
In the case of a plant failure, such an inci-
dent can be recorded in the VFI. The
counter measures that have been imple-
mented and any possible schedules up to
the restart of the plant section can be re-
corded and administered. In this way, a
meaningful history is available for every
plant and its components.

It is therefore possible, where applicable,
to track any essential schedules within the
scheduling administration that have
flagged up as complaints during the
testing.
