Kiva Fellows Program Technology

Kiva’s global network of Kiva Fellows
rely heavily on technology to stay in
      contact with each other, Kiva
staff, and the broader Kiva community
            while in the field.
Kiva Fellows Wiki: A collaborative history of
documents, policies and lessons learned.
Smartsheet: Fellows online work plan used to monitor
their work in the field as well as organize/maximize their time.
PA2: A Kiva System used bye fellows,
built for MFI Partners to communicate with Kiva.
Kiva Fellows play a key role in making sure our field partners know
how to use PA2. This is where a Fellow would find out info about
their field partner's loans and access reports.
Kiva Fellows Blog: A collective blog written by
the Fellows (back to 2007), powered by Wordpress.
Fellows You Tube Channel: An online host
for fellows to share videos from the field.
The Review and Translation Team

   The Review and Translation Team’s
         Volunteer Program is an
online community made of over 300
     volunteer editors and translators
       based all around the world.

and system support FAQ’s.
VIVA: Self-serve system for taking on loans

Editor's Notes

  1. Closed crowd of 300 editors and translators who can use a self serve system called Viva. Being served un-edited and un-translated loans. System assigns the loans in order of priority...Kiva's most urgent work gets fulfilled in terms of loan review.( aka first in first out.) If partner is over their fundraising limit, then that loan gets de-prioritized till next month. Innovative system for managing and translating editing work. Can use anytime / day or night. They are trusted to do everything that needs to be done with that loan before it goes live for fundraising.
