Good Stuff Happens in 1:1 Meetings: Why you need them and how to do them well
Your way to migrate to australia under skilled nominated category
1. Migrate to Australia under the Skilled Nominated Category
From mining and manufacturing to tourism, textiles and finance, there are plenty of job
opportunities in almost every industry in Australia. But the country has a shortage of local
skilled professionals for a number of industries, in a number of its states and territories. The
government understands that there is a need to fill this gap between the vacant positions
and available workforce, since only then the Australian economy can keep on thriving in
future.
To solve the issue, the government encourages Australian employers to hire overseas
skilled workers and fill these vacancies. Australian government offers the Skilled Nominated
visa (subclass 190) for those skilled foreign nationals who have been nominated to work in
Australia by a state or territory agency of Australian government. After getting nominated
for a skilled position, foreign nationals first need to submit an expression of interest (EOI)
application, in which they need to provide the details about the skills they claim to have and
their basic personal information.
Before submitting the EOI, applicants need to go through a skills assessment in which they
are awarded points based on various factors such as age, work experience, education
qualification, English language proficiency, and other relevant factors. Note that you can
only become eligible to apply under this category if your age is below 50 years.
After applicants have submitted their EOI application with all the required details, it will be
added to the EOI pool. From there the government will select the potential EOIs based on
their overall score, and will send them a letter of invitation to apply for this visa. After
receiving the letter, applicants are given a maximum period of 60 days to prepare all the
documents to prove the details they have provided in their EOI, and apply for the subclass
190 visa. Here are a few relevant proofs you need to provide.

The subclass 190 visa allows you to live in Australia as a permanent resident. You can also
bring your dependent family members to Australia on this visa. Initially, it remains valid for
a period of 5 years. After this period you can renew your visa or apply for another valid
visa. While your visa is valid, you can work in Australia indefinitely. You can also enroll in
study courses without any time restrictions. As a subclass 190 visa holder, you can also
apply for Australian citizenship. It also allows you to sponsor your eligible family member’s
for permanent residency in Australia.
Although, after getting sponsored by an Australian employer if you meet all the necessary
requirements, then your visa approval is almost assured; however, to avoid any

appropriately.
