To achieve this, most PaaS platforms take the "my way or the highway" approach (a.k.a opinionated architecture), and force you to fit into their own stack, language of choice, cloud data center, security, high availability, and scalability models. The result is that once you’re in – you’re locked in forever. Cloudify aims to change all that by giving you the freedom to choose your own stack, on any cloud, and handle your application without code changes.
