2. The markets closed green today. Sensex close up 217.35 gains 0.81% & the Nifty close
up 62.85 gains 0.78%, gained for a second consecutive session to their highest closing
level in five weeks, tracking a rally in global markets on expectations the U.S. Federal
Reserve would pause before raising interest rates. Hindalco Industries, DLF, JSPL and
Tata Steel topped the buying list, up 4-5 percent followed by Tata Motors, M&M and
Bajaj Auto with 2-3 percent. Tata Motors provisionally gained 3.3% while Hindalco 6.3%.
