1. Believe In Yourself!

The reason so many would be or could be successful entrepreneurs fail is because
they lose faith. It’s not faith in what they are doing, in others or the industry in which
they are striving to be successful in, they lose faith in themselves!
Man’s biggest enemy is himself. There is nothing so fragile as the human ego. Sure it
certainly seems to be bigger than life with some people you meet, but generally that is
a fasad!
If a man has faith, not only in himself, but in a higher and greater power, he can be
virtually unstoppable! This is the key element to being successful!
I have made it no secret that I am a man of faith. I thank God each and every day for
all the many blessings He has sent my way! I know that without His guidance, I am
nothing on my own. I also know that I have to do my part by having faith in myself as
well and then backing it with action. It is a team effort!
So many really truly believe that one is successful by being in the right place at the
right time. It’s all a matter of luck and who you know! Well, I tend to agree with part of
that, but not in the way you might think.
I do believe that you need to be in the right place at the right time for great things to
happen. I don’t believe that it has anything to do with luck!
I DO believe it has everything to do with putting forth the amount of effort necessary to
put you in the right place at the right time! And I do believe that it has to do with who
you know, which again goes back to the actions you take to doing what’s necessary
to be in the right place at the right time.
Any successful entrepreneur will likely agree that more times than not, it’s not what
you know, it’s who you know that makes the difference. This is true.

2. You could have built the greatest fail proof invention that would end world starvation
and never get it off the ground. Without finding the right person who will back your
venture and help find an interested party to purchase it from you, the invention in and
by itself is not successful.
Here’s the kicker though! If you didn’t believe in yourself, have faith in your abilities
and have confidence in your own powers to begin with, you likely would have never
come up with the idea for the invention to start with, let alone build the invention! It all
begins with you!
For years I had the dream of being my own boss, but thought there is no way I could
begin to run a business. The fact of the matter is, I was already running a business! I
was just running it for someone else!
It wasn’t until I finally opened my eyes and saw the light, so to speak! I do believe in
myself and have faith my own abilities! I do have confidence in my own powers!
While I was successful in my career, I wasn’t happy. Now I truly know the meaning of
being successful while being gloriously happy at the same time!
