11 Howto Set Library Settings

2. How-To: Library Settings www.swingsoftware.com 1) CHANGE LIBRARY NAME: 1) Enter the new Library Name and click OK. This name appears in the root node of the navigation tree in the navigation pane.
3. How-To: Library Settings www.swingsoftware.com 2) CONFIGURE ACTIVEX USAGE: 1) Here you can specify whether you want to use the ActiveX control or not. ActiveX control must be installed in Web browser (IE only) if you create documents using MS Word. The installation is triggered automatically the first time you use MS Word in DocPublisher. If you use only the HTML editor to create documents, then use of ActiveX is not required.

How-To: Library Settings www.swingsoftware.com 3) CONFIGURE LDAP AUTHENTICATION: 1) To enable LDAP authentication , mark this check box. 2) Enter the name of Directory Assistance database, relative to data directory on Domino server. 3) Select LDAP directories that will be available for authenticating DocPublisher users and click OK. Enabling LDAP authentication allows you to import users from your Active Directory into DocPublisher. To use this option you need to have Directory Assistance set on your Domino server.

How-To: Library Settings www.swingsoftware.com 4) CONFIGURE DOCUMENT OUTLINE: 2) You can enable or disable the outline promotion, or let the user decide whether to use this for each document. 1) When a Word document is being published, its outline view can be promoted to the navigation frame for easier navigation throughout the document. In this example, the ‘Workplace Dress Code’ document is split into two document links, each pointing to one outline heading in MS Word.

How-To: Library Settings www.swingsoftware.com 6) EXPORT LIBRARY CONTENT 1) To export library contents, first select the content you wish to export (to export the entire library, select the tree root). 2) Then select the destination folder and click on ‘Export’. All documents and attachments (if any) will be exported to the specified location and the folder structure will be preserved.
8. How-To: Library Settings www.swingsoftware.com 7) EXPORT VIEW TO .CSV 1) To export a view to .csv format first select the view you wish to export. You can export the standard folder view or any custom view that you may have enabled. 2) Then select the destination folder and click on ‘Export’. A new .csv file containing the contents of the view will be created in the specified location.
