Agile software development process is what most IT companies avail to develop their IT solutions. It values interactions, working software, customer collaboration and responding to change. It benefits IT companies to access and change the direction of a software development life cycle at any iteration (work of developing a project is divided into iterations). The same isn’t possible when software is developed using a traditional development process – Says Sudhakar Goverdhanam.

Agile software development process is what most IT companies avail to develop their IT solutions. It
values interactions, working software, customer collaboration and responding to change. It benefits IT
companies to access and change the direction of a software development life cycle at any iteration
(work of developing a project is divided into iterations). The same isn’t possible when software is
developed using a traditional development process – Says Sudhakar Goverdhanam.
A traditional software development process disallows to revisit any aspect of a life cycle; the same is
not the case with Agile. Every aspect, whether it is requirements gathering or design, is revisited and
redirected to develop quality software. Using Agile, IT companies can reduce the cost and deliver the
project on time. It becomes possible only with Agile to develop software while requirements are still
gathering.
Agile has a few principles and they are mentioned here:
1. An experienced end user representative involvement is essential to develop software the meet
the end user’s expectations & necessities.
2. Agile teams should make decisions at every stage of a software development lifecycle.
3. High priority features are developed and delivered in the early iterations
4. Testing the software throughout the life cycle

In their presentation, O’Brien-Scott and Cakici focused on what Enterprise AI is, why it is important, and what it takes to empower organizations to get started on a search-based AI journey and stay on track. The presentation explored the complexities of enterprise search challenges and how IA principles can be leveraged to provide AI solutions through the use of a semantic layer. O’Brien-Scott and Cakici showcased a case study where a taxonomy, an ontology, and a knowledge graph were used to structure content at a healthcare workforce solutions organization, providing personalized content recommendations and increasing content findability.
