1. Adding the right labels to your blog entries
You need to do this so that your blog is well-organised and things are easy to navigate.
Stage 1 – Creating an index
1.Log in to your blog dashboard.
2.Go to Layout.
3.On the sidebar of your blog, go to ‘Add Gadget’. Scroll down and select
‘Labels’. This will create an index at the top of your blog so that teachers
etc can navigate your blog easily.
Stage 2 – Adding labels/ tags
4.Create a ‘New Post’
5.Type the following labels/ tags with commas between them:
G321 Thriller planning, G321 Audience research, G321 Thriller research, G321 Thriller evaluation,
G321 Thriller construction, Coursework
6. Publish the post
7. Create another new post. Type the tags below, separated by commas.
G322A TV drama, G322B Film industry, Induction unit, G321 Preliminary task, Exam
8. Publish post. This has now made blogspot remember all of your tags/ labels.
Stage 3 – Adding labels/ tags to your previous blog posts
9. Go to ‘Edit Posts’. Tick the box of every blog post to do with your thriller planning.
10. Use the drop down menu to apply the tag/ label “G321 Thriller planning” to every post to do with your
audience research. These posts also need to be labelled “Exam”.
