5. Batman The Ride. Built 1995. Inverted Roller Coaster
2 trains with 8 cars per train. Riders are arranged 4
across in a single row for a total of 32 riders per train.
6. This $7 Million GCI wooden roller coaster, which is identical
to the Thunderbird at Power Land, features an 80-foot (24
m) drop with a top speed of 48 mph (77 km/h), going
through a course of 2,700 feet (820 m) of track.[3] This ride
features 16 hills and multiple high banked turns at up to 67°
angles.[3] The layout crosses over and under itself
seventeen times. This ride also features two 24-passenger
Millennium Flyer trains for better cornering.[3]
7. Tony Hawk's Big Spin roller coaster is scheduled to
open on April 21, opening day of Six Flags St. Louis'
2007 season.
8. In the new Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast, the ride begins with
the cars facing backwards, shooting out of the tunnel in
reverse, and, after topping out on the spike, the train
will re-run the course back to the station in a forward-
facing direction
9. It was opened in 2000 and is acclaimed for its
"terrain twister" style, dipping up and down
with the terrain beneath it.
10. Xcalibur motion is controlled. Xcalibur's speed and direction is
determined by motors located in the hub of the ride at the
top of the leg supports. Xcalibur is manufactured by Nauta
Bussnik Baily. The spinning ride is 113 feet (34 m) tall. It has 16
gondolas and can carry 64 people per ride.
11. However, development problems delayed the ride's
opening to 1997, and the design was remade to
include a traditional chain lift like the original
Boomerang.
12. Train has seven cars with two rows each, seating two
abreast per row.

13. Riders are held at the top of the 23-story tower for several
seconds at the top. The cars are then individually released
from the couplings and free fall some 129 ft (39 m),
reaching 62 mph (100 km/h) before hitting the brakes.
14. On August 29, 2013, Six Flags announced that they would be
adding the New England Sky Screamer to Six Flags New
England in 2014. At over 400-foot-tall (120 m), the ride will take
the record for the world's tallest swing ride from the Texas Sky
Screamer.
15. In 1990, the trains were replaced, the turns banked, and a double up hill
was removed from a section of the track..from 2003-2006 the Screamin’
Eagle received significant repairs such as painting, re-tracking, and
replacing of the control panel. Although those renovations have been

16. As of 1992 the wheel was lit by 2200 lights which displayed a 24-
pattern performance with a starburst finale. During the months
that the park was closed the lights displayed a giant clock
face which was visible to those passing on nearby Interstate
