Dodwell & CO (EA) LTD was founded in 1951. From 1960–80,
the company expanded its service offering to include Liner
services and is today, the leading provider of agency and
cargo services within the region.
Dodwell operates as an affiliate company of Inchcape
Shipping Services (ISS), the world’s leading maritime and
logistics service provider.

Our Services
Our association with ISS has enabled us to develop our
comprehensive array of services and offer our customers
tailored, end-to-end solutions.
Our Head Office is located in Mombasa, Kenya with our
sales office located in Nairobi. We also have offices in
Uganda, at Kampala and the Malaba border trading under
the ISS name.
Our staff are highly motivated, experienced professionals,
who are equipped with the required skills and knowledge
to ensure efficient delivery of services and cost effective

Import and Export
• Sea: FCL, LCL and groupage services, project cargo

Sea Freight
Dodwell, through its network of own offices and carefully
selected partners, is able to secure highly competitive
freight charges from the carrier and add value to the entire
freight chain. Ranging from ex-works and FOB to sea / air
shipments, we provide the most cost effective solutions for
transport by sea.
We offer a complete door to door solution, which saves you
from having to deal with multiple vendors. We use highly
reputed sub-contractors for delivering project and oversized
cargo after port clearance, pick up cargo from your shippers
premises, both full container loads and LCL, and arrange for
freight, customs clearance and delivery within East Africa.
We have volume contracts with major shipping lines and
are thus able to obtain both value based pricing and space
commitments, even during peak season.

transportation costs, government regulations and
banking practices, means your consignment arrives at the

Warehousing and Distribution
Having a strong distribution and warehousing strategy is
critical to most manufacturing, trading and supply chain
industry. Through the use of our highly reputed sub-
contractors, Dodwell provides integrated supply chain
solutions which reduce our customers’ inventory levels
and logistics costs.
Our contractors’ warehouses are strategically located
and offer cost efficient distribution solutions for long-
term and short-term storage, cold or dry cargo. The
facilities comprise of both free and bonded warehouses,
which comply with the strict new security standards.

Inland Haulage
Dodwell offers a flexible and tailored road freight service for:

of choice. We also have contracts with major transport
vendors who own their own fleets of trucks ranging from;
half-ton pick-ups, 40-ton semi-trailers to hydraulic modular

Car Carrier Services
From a single car carriage service to group vehicle car carrier
services buyers; we provide fast and efficient car carrier
services for both domestic and international destinations.
Our door-to-door service includes pickup and delivery of
your vehicle at your specified locations.
This service is often done through the use of a flatbed truck
but in some instances, it can be performed by our larger car
carrier truck, depending on the number of units involved.
