 Bharti Airtel limited a group company of Bharti
Enterprises, India’s leading integrated telecom
services provider with on aggregate of over 77.24
million customers as of end of August 2008,
consisting of 74.77 million mobile customers.

3. History of Bharti Airtel
 Bharti Airtel was established as Bharti Tele-
Ventures, in 1995.
 The company offered its initial public offering in
2002.
 During 2004, the company delisted its shares
from the Delhi stock Exchange. It continued t
trade on the National Stock Exchange and the
Mumbai Stock Exchange.
