    4. 4. What is Safe Spaces Project?  Safe Spaces Project works with community- based organizations to strengthen and create welcoming spaces and resources that foster the development and flourishing of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer or Questioning (LGBTQ) youth.

Transgender and Gender Non- Conformity Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexuality 2) Transgender and Gender Non- Conforming is not LGB
    8. 8. 3) Gender Identity is different than biological sex I think I get it… Gender identity: How someone thinks of their gender. It may mean boy, girl, or something else entirely. Biological Sex: The 3 G’s! (Genatalia, Gonads, Genetics) There are at least 16 types of intersex conditions.
    9. 9. Gender Presentation is how we present our gender to the world. This may be masculine, feminine, androgynous, or something else entirely. Gender Expression/Presentation 4) How you dress does not make/not make you trans…

Transgender: Transgender is frequently used as an umbrella term for anyone diverging from the gender roles that are associated with the gender they were assigned at birth. Gender Non-Conforming Gender non-conforming commonly refers to someone who is does not identify themselves in the way that they were assigned at birth.
