      • Groups from over 180 schools, homework clubs and family centres attended.
      • 68% from SIP areas

      • 2005 - 15,000 participants
      • 2009 – 28,000 participants
      • A further 10,000 people came to the Mitchell to browse and buy in the bookshop use the festival café and soak up the atmosphere

    10. From pre-fives to over 70’s all age groups took part

    12. 68% of children/young people participating in the education programme came from socially disadvantaged areas.
