Summary of Job Responsibilities
 Caries out the line-up of system like transfer of product, adding of chemical, blending, product
diversions, finished product transfer, inter tank transfer and injection system.
 Supervise receipts of Hydro carbon in main tanks and storage(Conical and floating roof tanks)
 Crude oil receiving through pipeline crude oil storage and feeding to crude
distillation unit.
 Supervision of receipts of different fuel products through pipelines & tank Lorries decanting from
ex. Refineries and handling, supervision and distribution of Imports products (HSD, Hexane,
Xylene, Toluene, MEK, IPA,) from Jetty to terminals.
 Ship loading of Naphtha from KT. Caries out line up from Terminal to Ship loading arm.

2.  Preparation of petroleum products inventory as well as the production and
dispatch of the petroleum products either through pipeline operation or through
gantry operation
 Supervision of Gantry operation in truck loading area as a “Gantry Supervisor”
 Developing standards operating procedure “SOPs” in order to make the oil
movement & Gantry operations safer and easier.
 Finished products transfer (Pipeline / truck loading) also performed other
activities like tanks switchover operation, inter-tank transfer and re-injection
system.
 Preparation of feasibility reports for modification of jobs of oil movement
department.
 Preparation of petroleum products inventory as well as the production and
dispatch of the petroleum products either through pipeline operation or through
gantry operation.
 Maintaining of Loss/ Gain in ambient and 60F & 85F
 Dispatches of all fuel products through tank Lorries.
 Responsible for smooth operation of PLC and SAAB Radar Tank Gauging
System.
 Reponsible for efficient working of Emergency Systems.
 Responsible for isolation of equipment and issuance of cold & hot work permits
for preventive & shutdown maintenance work.
 Preparing and generating necessary documentation and technical reports required
by the top management.
